Health, Safety and Training
ISF has an ongoing commitment to health and safety, continuously
improving its level of competence using a network of external
sources. Throughout all areas of industry today, the degree of
health and safety requirements are increasing and changing
constantly.
We are committed to both our workforce and our clients and
believe training personnel correctly is the key to a safer
working environment. All our employees have CSCS safety passport
certification, confined space training, heavy plant driving
licences and rigging and slinging qualifications these are a
basic requirement ensuring maximum flexibility across numerous
industry sectors.
Many of the projects we undertake we do so as principal
contractor organising both our own and carefully selected
sub-contractor documentation. Our project management team are
trained to produce method statements, risk and COSHH assessments
to cover every aspect of an installation often under CDM
(Construction, Design Management) regulations where an
independent supervisor controls the health and safety on site.
ISF also accept responsibility for the health and safety of
other persons who may be affected by our activities, we adopt a
strict quality management system which is part of our ISO 9002
accreditation.
