Cover Story - New Intake Re-model for Dugdale Nutrition

ISF have just completed the £70k upgrade of the raw material intake facility at Dugdale Nutrition Ltd. Clitheroe, Lancs. The re-model comprised new intake hopper discharge equipment, Plenum mounted lorry tipping booth filtration units, heavy duty tipping grids with lockable aluminium hinged doors and a new weather canopy for vehicle/operator shelter.

NWF Agriculture Ltd. have commissioned ISF to design/build a new Bulk Out-loading Plant in Wixland, North Devon. The new facility will provide continuous weighing into and out of the storage bins and screening of finished products prior to loading via a mobile rotary screen system.

BATA Ltd. of Amotherby, North Yorkshire have made further investment this year by introducing a new 12tph press line, the turnkey project included a meals transfer route to additional press feed bins, double conditioning through a new Salmetec pelleting press and transfer equipment to the downstream cooler.

ISF have just completed a pre-flake cooker installation for Micronized Foods Ltd. Northallerton, the project involve the design, manufacture and installation of a new steam pre-heat vessel, conditioner and cooker unit. Following on from the projects success ISF have been awarded the installation of a new raw material screen project.

ISF have been instructed to carry out the design/build of a new UPVC reclamation colour separation plant at Ecoplas Ltd. Vacuum technology will be used to both feed the structurally mounted Sortex separator and draw form large collection under-hoppers after screening to feed its downstream process facilities. Ecoplas are one of the largest UPVC reclaim companies in the UK shipping fragmented and pulverized plastics all over the world.

Having experienced problems with product discoloration due to heat generated by the PVC re-cycling process, Ecoplas Ltd. of Selby have instructed ISF to undertake the design/build of a new aqua cooling system transferring cold air into its process facility via fabricated stainless steel ducting.
